Gift Cards

Amelleé Gift Cards & Online Vouchers Terms and Conditions

1) Amelleé Gift Cards and Online Vouchers can only be used for purchases at the Amelleé Online Store. Not redeemable at any Stockists or Concept Shops. Your Amelleé Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and is redeemable in Australia only."

2) Voucher values or discount rates or amounts are as specified on the Voucher. All value amounts are specified in Australian dollars.

3) There is a limit of one Voucher per transaction unless the voucher expressly says otherwise.

4) Certain items may not be eligible for purchase using the voucher. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift cards.

5) A Voucher cannot be used to pay for taxes, shipping and handling or other charges unless the Voucher Terms expressly provide otherwise. Any voucher offering free shipping applies only to regular shipping of products within Australia.

6) A particular voucher cannot be combined with any other offer or Voucher in the same order unless the voucher terms expressly provide otherwise.

7) Each voucher (excluding a single use Voucher, which expires on use) is valid for a limited time only and expires on the date specified in the Specific Voucher Terms unless used or terminated earlier in accordance with these Voucher Terms.

8) Vouchers are not for resale and are not redeemable for cash. If the order value is lower than the Voucher value, the remaining amount of the Voucher value is lost.

9) Physical Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, mutilated, defaced, and tampered with or deleted.

10) A voucher cannot be applied to orders already placed.

11) We may discontinue, cancel or refuse to issue or honour a specific Voucher or Voucher type at any time for any reason without notice. This may occur for a range of reasons including due to errors associated with issuing or processing the Voucher or Voucher type or because we consider that you or the Voucher applicant have applied for or used the Voucher improperly or outside its intended purpose or operation or in breach of these Voucher Terms including any Specific Voucher Terms or because the Voucher has been tampered with or altered.

12) These Voucher Terms cover only the Voucher itself. Our specified trading terms and Conditions also apply to your purchases of products or services using the Voucher.

Shipping Information

Delivery Locations

The Amelleé Online Store ships to addresses within Australia and selected International regions. International regions include USA, UK, Brazil, New Zealand and China.

Processing Orders

Once you have submitted and confirmed your order using the Amelleé Online Store, Amelleé will send an email to the email address you provided, acknowledging receipt of the order and setting out details of the ordered Products.

After receiving your order, Amelleé will check that the ordered Products are available. A separate contract for the sale of the ordered items between you and Amelleé on these Sales Terms will be formed when Amelleé emails you confirming that all or part of the order is available and has been dispatched (Shipment Confirmation Email). The contract is formed on sending the Shipment Confirmation Email whether or not you receive such email. You are encouraged to download, save and print a copy of your Order Receipt Confirmation Email, Shipment Confirmation Email and these Sale Terms for your records.

The contract will only relate to the Items which have been despatched and are listed in the Shipment Confirmation Email. Amelleé will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Shipment Confirmation Email.

If you would like to cancel your order after you have received your Shipment Confirmation Email, please see the Returns Policy below.

Prices, Shipping and Handling, Charges and Taxes

Prices on this website are recommended retail prices only and are subject to change. Amelleé assumes no liability for prices that differ in store. Not all products are available in all stores.

The price charged for a Product will be the price in effect at the time your order is placed and will be set out in the Order Confirmation Email and in your Shipping Confirmation Email. If you place additional or separate orders after receiving the Order Receipt Confirmation you will incur additional shipping and handling charges for such additional orders.

The items, prices and promotional offers (if any) made on the Amelleé Online Store only apply to orders placed on the Amelleé Online Store and may be different from those available in stores selling Amelleé products (stockists).

If there is a pricing error, whether on the Amelleé Online Store or in an Order Receipt Confirmation Email or otherwise, then to the extent permitted law Amelleé has the right to correct such error and charge the correct price or cancel the order. If the actual price is more than the amount shown on your Order Confirmation Email Amelleé will contact you with the correct price before processing your order, and your sole remedy if such error occurs is to cancel your order.

The purchaser acknowledges that even after Amelleé has sent you a Shipping Confirmation Email, if the pricing error is obvious and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a misprice, then Amelleé is under no obligation to provide a Product to you at an incorrect (lower) price.

Prices for the Products include GST or other applicable taxes but do not include charges for shipping and handling.

Separate charges for shipping, handling and their related GST or other taxes will be shown in your Order Confirmation Email and can be viewed on a summary screen prior to finalizing your order.

Returns & Exchanges

Amelleé Returns Policy

This policy only applies to Products purchased on the Amelleé Online Store on purchases within Australia.

Refunds:

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and subject to the conditions set out below, if for any reason you change your mind or no longer want the items you have purchased, you may return the full price products purchased from the Amelleé Online Store to the location notified by Amelleé within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding delivery.

If you wish to return the Products you will need to email Amelleé admin@amellee.com.au.au.au.au.au.au.au.au to complete an Amelleé online return request form.

All items must be returned unworn and unused with the original tags still attached; and in the original packaging, which must be in the original condition; this refers to any branded packaging the item has arrived in. This is not referring to any of the clear plastic packaging.

Amelleé does not cover the cost of return shipping. Your legal rights in respect of defective goods are unaffected.

If you do not return the Products within 7 days of delivery or if Amelleé believes that these items have been worn, used or damaged by the buyer, Amelleé reserves the right to refuse a refund and will return the original item to you.

Amelleé items purchased outside of the online store www.amellee.com.au.au.au.au.au.au.au.au.au are not returnable to the online store. If you did not purchase from the Amelleé Online Store you may not return your Amelleé item to our online department. Contact your retailer for further information.

Once Amelleé has received and validated your returned Items, Amelleé will send you an email to confirm the validation. Your refund will then be processed by Amelleé and confirmed to you by email.

Sale and clearance items:

Sale and promotional items are non-refundable, however rings & bangles may be exchanged for another size where applicable. If the required size is not available, you may exchange for another item of the same or greater value. Please use our ring size chart before purchasing to ensure a good fit.

Amelleé does not offer credit notes if you choose to exchange your item for an item of lesser value.

Gift with Purchase

If you received a gift with the purchase of your Product and wish to return the purchased product for a refund, both the gift and the Product must be returned. The gift with purchase can be kept if the total value of the products not returned as part of the same transaction is equal to or greater than the amount that you were required to spend in order to be eligible for the gift.  Please refer to individual ‘Gift with Purchase Terms and Conditions’.

Gift with purchase promotional offers are:

  • Only available during the promotion period specified and while the stock is available;
  • Limited to one gift per customer;
  • Not valid in conjunction with any other promotional offer; and
  • Excludes sale items.

When you order Items as part of a gift with purchase promotion you will be required to confirm your acceptance of any applicable and additional Gift with Purchase Terms and Conditions that may apply to the promotion at the time of placing your order.  If applicable such terms and conditions will form part of these Sales Terms.

Payment Options

Choose to pay via ZipPay, PayPal or Credit Card (by PayPal).

If Amelleé does not receive the authorization that the payment has been processed Amelleé reserves the right to cancel your order.

The value of your purchase will be settled from the applicable card or account when the order is placed.

If your credit card payment cannot be processed or gets rejected at the point of purchase you will be notified of this on the Amelleé Online Store. You will then need to contact your bank or card issuer and endeavour to resolve the issue.

Amelleé also offer a low interest finance option, provided through Mac Lifestyle. In association with Mac Credit, they are an industry leader in sourcing payment plans for lifestyle purposes. Jewellery Quality

SILVER

By utilising 925 sterling silver as the base metal, Amelleé is able to focus on providing distinct and beautifully designed pieces filled with substance and quality while simultaneously attaining prices that are accessible to consumers.

All of our pieces are of 18k gold quality and may be ordered in gold or platinum. All specials orders are limited edition, will be hand made by our head jeweller and individually numbered.

PLATING AND FINISHING

All Amelleé pieces feature a unique 3 coat plating system, in the following order for durability and tarnish resistance: Silver, Palladium and White Rhodium/Black Ruthenium.

The Amelleé Fishnet Pattern has been finished with a special grade sandblast finish. All pieces are hallmarked with the Amelleé 925 stamp and our signature pink ruby.

GEMSTONES

Amelleé only uses natural gemstones hand sourced from around the globe.

All of our gemstones are hand cut and calibrated to our exact specifications. We employ expert setters to set our gemstones into our designs. All of our gemstones are of premium eye clean quality (where the cut and nature of the gemstone permits). The current Amelleé collection boasts a wide range of gemstones and cuts to suit a variety of tastes and pricing levels.

PEARLS

All Amelleé pearls are cultured South Sea, Tahitian or Freshwater Pearls.

Pearls are all handpicked, perfectly round, and showcase exceptional colour & lustre.

STINGRAY LEATHER

Our exotic leather jewellery is made using genuine stingray leather

The leather has been treated and coloured to create a vibrant rainbow of colours. We only use the finest stingray leather and employ leading manufacturers to attain high-end finishes.

Repairs

WARRANTY

All Amelleé jewellery has a 12 month year warranty covering manufacturing and workmanship defects and stone imperfections. If any Amelleé product is found to have a manufacturing fault within the warranty period, it will either be repaired (where possible) in a timely manner or replaced.

POST-WARRANTY SERVICE

In order to enjoy your Amelleé piece for life, we provide repair, polish and replating services on all items during any stage of the products life cycle, even after the warranty has expired.

The cost of work will be quoted based on an individual case-by-case basis.

Care Instructions

Caring for your jewellery

All jewellery will develop a dull film build-up over time from the oils in your skin, lotion, soap, powder, perfume and the atmosphere.

There are steps you can take to reduce tarnish and other build up over time.

Tarnish begins as a yellowish tinge and may be removed with little effort. Eventually, tarnish will reach a shade of blackish-purple that is more difficult to remove.

Rinsing your jewellery in water mixed with a very mild dish detergent that does NOT contain acid is an excellent way to keep it bright and shiny.

Other cleaning options include the polishing cloth that has been included with your purchase.

Polishing creams or liquids may be required to remove heavy tarnishing. Great care should be taken not to expose gemstones to these creams and liquids as the chemicals may damage certain stones. These creams and liquids will also remove any decorative oxidation and/or patina designs from your jewellery.

You can take the following steps to properly care for your jewellery:

  1. Use a soft jewellery polishing cloth to prevent tarnish build-up.
  2. Remove your jewellery before swimming in the ocean and/or a chlorinated pool. (Chlorine may cause discoloration to the silver. It will also cause damage to many gemstones and may cause them to become loose in their settings.)
  3. Remove your jewellery before using cleaning materials.
  4. Remove your jewellery before engaging in exercise and/or sports to prevent scratching, denting or loss of gemstones.
  5. Remove your jewellery before going to bed to avoid twisting, knotting and/or breakage.
  6. Remove silver jewellery when doing cleaning and/or gardening.
  7. DO NOT allow your jewellery to come in prolonged contact with matches, rubber bands or anything that contains sulfur.
  8. DO NOT allow your jewellery to come in contact with abrasive soaps, chemicals, perfumes, hair sprays and/or dyes.
  9. DO NOT rub your jewellery with abrasive cloths and/or cleansers. Silver scratches easily.
  10. DO NOT expose your jewellery to prolonged periods of extreme temperatures or intense sunlight. (i.e. window sills, car dashboards)
  11. DO NOT store your jewellery near a heat source

Storing your Jewellery

Remember that the easiest way to keep your jewellery cleaning to a minimum is to store it properly.

When taking your jewellery off, just wipe the item clean with the cloth before returning to your jewellery box. Remember to apply your hairspray and perfume BEFORE putting on any jewellery.

With proper care your jewellery will stay as beautiful and precious as the day you received it and will become a precious heirloom that can be enjoyed by generations.
